About
TechnoDespair
TechnoDespair is a blog designed to provide useful info, tips tricks and ideas to help you simplify your life at work and home. There are an incredible number of new software tools and web applications now available at little or no cost.
The question is, “do these tools make your life easier, or more complicated?” The answer lies in deciding which (and how many) tools to use, and in some cases, whether paper and pen makes more sense.
TechnoDespair is not for everyone. My goal here is not necessarily to provide you with the “best” tool on the market, but to provide you with recommendations on which is the most simple and effective to set up and use, as well as provide straightforward step-by-step instructions on setting these tools up.
My goal is also to provide tips and tricks to help you simplify other areas of your life, such as health, diet, organization and travel. It has taken me many years of trial and error to find out what works and what doesn’t work, and to then break this down into simple, effective and repeatable “action steps” for you to try out for yourself.
I’ve set up this site for you. Please feel free to contribute comments and suggestions. I don’t always have the right answer, and am always open to better ways of doing things.
