Resources
I’ve created this page to provide you with what I believe to be the best resources that I’ve found and used. When I say “best”, I mean resources that are simple to use, stable, cost effective, and provide the best end user support possible. In my opinion, it’s much better to use a product or service that is simple, easy to set up without a lot of training, and that just plain works, rather than one that has all the bells and whistles, but is overly complex or unstable, causing much frustration and wasted time.
I’ve broken these down by categories to make them easier to find, and will be continuously adding new ones in the future as I find them and thoroughly test them out. Hopefully this will save you a lot of time and frustration by taking advantage of my experience, rather than having to research them by trial and error.
Disclaimer: Some (but not all) of the links to these resources are affiliate links. This means that I will probably receive a small referral fee if you click on the link and then buy something from them. The affiliate fee is paid by the vendor, and does not increase the price of their product or service to you. I never make recommendations based on an affiliate program, but rather on the quality of the product or service. It would never be worth it to recommend something I didn’t truly believe in.
I hope you find these resources useful. If you have any additional recommendations for me to evaluate, or ever have any trouble or issues with these products or services, please let me know.
Recommended Resources:
I use the Thesis Theme for this blog. I love it because it’s very easy to configure, and has great SEO features out of the box.
I’ve been using HighRise for contact management and CRM since it was launched. I think it’s the easiest CRM/contact manager that I’ve used.
I use InnoHosting for this blog and most of my other sites. My reseller plan gives me unlimited domains, and the support is great! If you don’t need a reseller account (most people), I would highly recommend HostGator for all your hosting needs. It’s very inexpensive, you can host unlimited domains, and the support is good.
